She is natural from Oliveira de Azeméis, where she studied music from 6 to 18 years. At the University of Aveiro gave the first steps in the world of musical theater. This experience was crucial for her integration into the cast of a musical company on tour in the island of Majorca, for half a year in 2009.

The seasons lived far from Portugal aroused the “Saudade” (nostalgic missing..) that only the Fado knows how to express.
Ana Margarida exquisitely prepares her future. "We must hear the voices of experience and learn a lot"!

Despite singing since childhood, her "Baptism of Fado" occurred in 2008 at the Gala in Honor of Fernanda Baptista at Teatro Sá da Bandeira where she received the Emerging Talent Award. Since then she had already the happiness of sharing the stage with great divas of Fado (Beatriz da Conceição, Cidália Moreira, Maria da Fé) and be accompanied by the best musicians. Has toured many lands, the nooks and crannies where Fado lives, and with him travelled abroad (Spain, France and Switzerland).

Daily we can hear Ana Margarida in the typical house of Fado "A Severa" in Lisbon.
