| Lenita Gentil presents next thursday her new record |
 Lenita Gentil, this year awarded with the city of Lisbon's Medal of Merit, will present her latest CD, "Momentos," next thursday, the 26th, at the Museu do Fado's auditorium.
"This is an album that I always wanted to do, I sing on themes outside the traditional fado wich in recent years have marked my career," told to Lusa Lenita Gentil, referring to the distinction said: "It is always gratifying when our work is recognized. " The CD includes songs like "Hasta siempre Comandante", "Canzone per te", "Canção com lágrima" by Adriano Correia de Oliveira and Manuel Alegre, and the upcoming "A morna de nha Lisboa", composed by Rogério Oliveira and Fernando Pereira. On the Museu do Fado performance, she will be will be accompanied by Fernando Silva on the portuguese guitar, Paulo Ramos on the classic guitar, Fernando Costa on the bass guitar, Edu on the ukulele, and Urbano on the percussions. |
