Born in Lisbon at the parish of Santos-o-Velho, on April 12th, 1914 he was son of the poet, Martinho d’Assunção.

Artur Paredes was born in Coimbra, at the turn of the twentieth century, on the 10 May 1899.

Nasceu no Porto em 1982. O seu primeiro contacto com a música surge aos 6 anos, tendo iniciado o estudo de Piano com a professora Madalena Leite de Castro.

Jorge Fontes nasceu na Vila dos Carvalhos, freguesia de Pedroso, Vila Nova de Gaia no ano de 1935.

Desde muito cedo ficou a gostar da sonoridade da guitarra, porque seu pai tocava o instrumento.
